When a child is sick or injured, families need more than medical care. Our free programs provide a place to stay, spaces to recharge, and support that helps families through difficult moments.
The Ronald McDonald House® SWFL provides temporary accommodation, meals, peer support, and other services to meet the basic needs of families of children receiving medical care. Families can stay, anywhere from one night to several months or more, depending on their family’s needs.
The Ronald McDonald House® Family Room at Golisano Children’s Hospital provides food, refreshments, laundry facilities and a relaxation area for family members of hospitalized children. There are only three Family Room programs in Florida, so we are proud to have one!
